Orthomolecular therapist in Steenwijk and Nijmegen
In 2015, after a period of severe abdominal and gut complaints, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. At the time I was told these complaints were chronic and incurable and that I had to learn to live with them. By using my own body as an experiment, I managed to fully recover from my symptoms without ever using medication.
From my own experience I know how big an impact gut complaints can have on your life. How limiting they can be and how much they affect daily life. But I have also experienced that recovery is possible.
That is where my love for this work began: to show other people with gut complaints which steps they can take to restore their health and live the way they want again.
Besides giving therapy, in which I teach people how the body works, why symptoms arise and what they can do themselves to recover, I draw enormous energy from conversations about personal development.
Where are you in life? Where do you want to go? What is holding you back from taking those steps? Are there unconscious blocks, is the direction not yet clear, or is confidence missing?
Conversations about meaning, personal growth and conscious living give me great satisfaction. Helping people understand themselves better and ultimately give more of themselves to the world is an important part of my work.
Every day I walk my dog in the park. I am also a big fan of cars and motorcycles. I really enjoy tinkering with my car or heading out on the motorbike. You will also regularly find me at crossfit.
