Orthomolecular gut therapist in Den Haag
In 2018 I discovered I had a parasite in my gut. That moment changed everything. As a qualified dietitian I honestly thought: I will sort this out myself. But I was in for a rude awakening.
That period forced me to look beyond food and protocols alone. I worked intensively on my own gut health. I also quickly noticed: as soon as my physical body began to recover, a lot started moving on other levels too. That was the start of my journey towards holistic health.
What motivates me every day is the moment someone feels: this really works. The relief and gratitude I see then move me every time. Often because together we have finally uncovered the cause of their symptoms.
When someone regains confidence in their body and notices their symptoms genuinely easing because we have reached the root, that gives me enormous satisfaction.
For me, recharging is mostly about coming back into my body. The sauna plays a big role: warmth, quiet and nothing I have to do. I also walk a lot in the dunes. We live a ten-minute walk from the beach, and that closeness to nature helps me ground myself.
What recharges me most is perhaps getting to know myself better and better. Through personal development, bodywork and consciously reflecting on patterns and needs.
